Build your bones! Boost your balance! Tone your body!

Join Julie for a fun mat class that addresses how we can adapt the traditional Pilates mat work into a workshop that is challenging for people of all levels, and is also safe for those with osteoporosis. Pilates for Buff Bones ® is a unique, Pilates-based workout that uses bone-strengthening techniques while focusing on alignment and balance. It targets the butt, hips, arms and back, while giving the whole body a terrific workout. No prior Pilates experience necessary.

Grow Your Home Practice

Whether you are newer to yoga or a longtime student, learning how to bring your practice home is one of the greatest investments you can make in your yoga practice. This afternoon workshop is designed to teach you how to bring the fantastic feeling you get from your studio class into your own home.

For most home practice novices, the hardest thing to figure out is how to begin. We’ll cover the basics of home practice, including how to squeeze in a practice when you’re on a time budget, best poses for morning vs evening, and how to sequence a longer practice to build into a challenge pose. You’ll get a few handouts to help you navigate the in’s and out’s of at home yoga, plus the opportunity to design your own ideal home practice sequence.
